Ordinance #245 – “Town of Manzanola animal care and control Ordinance”

  1. All pet owners must provide proof of rabies inoculation administered by a licensed veterinarian.
  2. All pet owners must purchase a Town of Manzanola pet license.  Purchased at town hall for $5.00 per dog(spayed/neutered) and $10.00(non-spayed/neutered) valid for one year and must be renewed each year.
  3. It shall be unlawful for any person owning a pet to permit the animal to run at large within the town.
  4. Any person who boards or possesses more than 4 dogs shall be required to obtain a kennel license from the Town.  Kennel license shall be imposed as $300.00 annual license fee.

  5. This Ordinance is 10 pages in length and can be seen at Town Hall.  Introduced, adopted, passed, and ordered published on the 12th day of March 1996.
